Damodar has over 25 years of experience in the Nepalese seed sub-sector. He is associated with SEAN SEED COMPANY since Feb 2011 and currently heading the Research-for-Development and Production Sections of the company. He holds a Master's degree in Agriculture from Germany and Sociology from Nepal and trained in crop research, seed production, and seed technology from different institutions of Denmark, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Bangladesh, The Netherlands, China, and India. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Tribhuvan University.
He is a certified Crop Inspector and Seed Analyst. With his rich expertise in quality assurance, production, and processing activities of vegetable seeds and corn, actively driving field and lab activities. Data management, product development, and communication are also part of the deliverable.
Research and Development, and seed production activities are being organized as per the company’s immediate need and national agricultural policy and guidelines, especially Nepal Seed Vision 2013-2025.
