Mr. Pokhrel, an MSc in Plant Breeding, is currently working as a Plant Breeder at this company. He is assigned to lead the Team at R&D Station, Lamahi, Dang.
He is responsible for preparing research proposals, identifying potential crops and landraces, and conducting field selection and maintenance breeding for crop improvement. He manages inbred line development, grow-out tests, CVTs, MLTs, and seed quality assurance, including breeder and source seed production. He also oversees seed field evaluations, new variety performance assessments, and prepares technical and progress reports.
